March 24th…Some days are better than others. The forecast for today called for rain, so I decided to do some work on the website. While I was online a little gem fell into my lap (thanks Princess Erin) and I thought I'd share it with y'all. I think each of us knows someone who's not playing with a full deck or is a few fries short of a happy meal. Well, if you think life's treating you badly check this out! PsychoEx(wife)girlfriend…geeeze…sounds like someone I know! |

March 14th…opening day (windsurfing) for this editor at Coyote Point. It turned out to be a relatively warm (for March) and windy afternoon. All the gear seemed to go together well, as if it had been rigged just yesterday. I just hate how the wetsuit shrinks over the long winter months…oh well.
Not too many sailors showed up to join in the fun. Must've been the really stinky brown water that kept them away. Nothing like shredding through a good raw sewage spill to start off the new season! Yeehaaaaw!!! |
March 10…today was a beautiful day at the point. The winds were westerly and light. A big board/sail combo was the call. This editor decided to fly a (land) kite rather than sail as the the windsurf-fun-factor seemed to be about 2:6 (windspeed vs. cold-water temp) and then headed to 3rd Ave to check on da boyz. |

March 8…We've had a few off and on days of sunshine and wind at Coyote and surrounds. Not enough to bring many to rig and sail. The boys have been going at it non-stop down at 3rd and at HMB doin' the kite thang. This editor's finally loaded up the van in case the mood strikes to get back on the water. It's still pretty chilly for these toes! Might stick to fkying kites for another 10 degrees or so. |
February 20...well here it is kids, the first installment of the "Baha Chronicles."
Da boyz went to Baja to kitesurf and sail. Sometimes there was wind... sometimes not...never fear, having more time and toys than brains, da boyz experimented...with Kenny! |

February 9...It's about time for some updates. I guess the season officially starts after the first 50 knot blow like we had at Coyote on Tuesday. The boys are in Baja for a little kitesurfing. Steve's promised video and I hope to have some up next week. |

| Happy New Year and new millennium! Once again, we're starting with a clean slate and a new sheet of paper. Your input, either text or images, will help to make this a more interesting site. If you don't contribute, then this editor will just make up the stories…but that's a pretty scarey thing, so let's hear from you. |
The faces and places may change a bit for 2001 because a lot of the focus is now on kitesurfing. We've had the opportunity to meet new friends over the past year and a significant amount of time has been spent at 3rd Ave. Steve rarely shows up at Coyote anymore and SNix hasn't windsurfed since the team trip to Maui last summer. It's all kites, kites and more kites.
This editor's had a go or two with her Wipika, but so far the Wipi's the undisputed winner. Lynda J's putting the pressure on, so chances are both Mo and Jen will be found on the business end of kite strings by the summer.
The wind has been a no-show for at least the past month and the boys are becoming grumpy old men. Good thing that the holidays are over and the days are getting longer. Can't wait for spring. |
Lots of good news waiting to be told...can't get into the details of it all just yet, but things are changing...stay tuned! |
