On February 4, 2007 the Cunard Ship Queen Mary 2, the largest ship ever to enter the San Francisco Bay,
sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge with just 30 feet to spare
while being escorted by the Jeremia O'Brian and a flotilla of hundreds of pleasure boats
and cheered by thousands of spectators who lined the edges of the Bay.
